2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery Main Ticket and Draw Information

1. The 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery main ticket prices are: Single ticket for $100, 2-Pack for $175, 4-Pack for $300, and 8-Pack for $500. Only 56,700 tickets will be sold.
2. The total retail value of prizes is $2,148,176.03 (excluding taxes) for the Main
3. All persons participating in the 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
4. The Fall Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Midnight. The Fall Bonus draw will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
5. The Super Bonus cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Midnight. The Super Bonus draw will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 10:00a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
6. The Early Bird cutoff date for main ticket sales will be Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Midnight. The Early Bird draws will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:00a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
7. The Final main ticket sales cutoff for all remaining prizes, including the Grand Prize, will be Thursday, November 17, 2022 at All remaining main prize draws, excluding the Grand Prize draw, will begin on Wednesday, November 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. and stop when completed. These draws will be in order of ascending retail value. All draws will take place at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
8. The Grand Prize draw will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 between 12:00p.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
9. In the event that the 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery Main tickets sell out before Midnight, Thursday, November 3, 2022, the following alternative draw dates will be used, except for the Fall Bonus, Super Bonus and Early Bird draws as noted above. All remaining main prize draws, excluding the Grand Prize draw, will begin on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. and stop when completed. These draws will be in order of ascending retail All draws will take place at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112- 700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3. The Grand Prize draw will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022 and will occur between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.

Grand Prize Rules 

10. The Grand Prize winner will have until no later than Friday, December 9, 2022 to make their selection of their choice options. In the event that the winner cannot be reached or does not indicate their selection to the HSC Foundation prior to 12:00 p.m. on Friday December 9, 2022, the cash option will be awarded. In the event that the 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery sells out prior to midnight, Thursday, November 3, 2022, the Grand Prize winner will have until Friday, November 25, 2022 to make their selection of their choice In the event that the winner cannot be reached or does not indicate their selection to the HSC Foundation prior to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022, the cash option will be awarded.
11. Title transfer for Grand Prize Choice 1, a Maric Homes house located at 272 Yellow Moon Crescent in Winnipeg would be on or before August 15, 2023; for Grand Prize Choice 2, a Sterling Homes house located at 239 Yellow Moon Crescent in Winnipeg would be on or before August 15, 2023; for Grand Prize Choice 3, a Daytona home at 3 Pegasus Lane in Winnipeg would be on or August 15, 2023; for Grand Prize 4, a Artista home located at 47 Eliuk Cove in Winnipeg would be on or August 15, 2023; and for Grand Prize Choice 5, the home to be located at 75A-1000 Silver Spray Dr. in Sooke, BC, would be on August 31, 2023.
12. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. The winner or Foundation is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded.

50/50 PLUS^® Draw Information

13. 50/50 PLUS^® ticket prices are 2-Pack for $20, 10-Pack for $40, and 30-Pack for $60, and 60-Pack for $80, and will be sold to generate a maximum of $2,500,000 in gross revenue. Winner will receive 50% of gross revenue to a maximum of $1,250,000. The 50/50 PLUS^® minimum prize guarantee is $200,000.
14. 50/50 PLUS^® tickets can only be purchased if a 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery main ticket(s) has been purchased.
15. The 50/50 PLUS^® ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Thursday, November 17, 2022 or earlier if Main tickets are sold The 50/50 PLUS^® draw will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
16. In the event that the 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery Main tickets sell out before Midnight, Thursday, November 3, 2022, the draw for the 50/50 PLUS^® will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.

Extra Cash Plus™ Draw Information

17. Extra Cash Plus™ ticket prices are 2-Pack for $20, 5-Pack for $40, and 15-Pack for $60, and 40-pack for $80. A maximum of 166,000 tickets will be sold. Tickets purchased will be eligible for all Extra Cash Plus™ draws.
18. Total retail value of the Extra Cash Plus™ prizes is $148,000 .
19. The Extra Cash Plus™ tickets can only be purchased if a 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery main ticket has been purchased.
20. The Extra Cash Plus™ ticket sales cut off is Midnight, Thursday, November 17, 2022 or earlier if the Main lottery tickets sell out. All Extra Cash Plus™ draws will take place on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 2:00 m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
21. In the event that the 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery Main tickets sell out before Midnight Thursday, November 3, 2022, the Extra Cash Plus™ draws will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the HSC Foundation Office at PW112-700 William Avenue, Winnipeg MB, R3E 0Z3.
22. There are 116 Extra Cash Plus™ Regular Winners of $1,000 Cash
23. There are 4 Extra Cash Plus™ Final Winners of $8,000 Cash

Other Rules: 

24. The 50/50 PLUS^® and Extra Cash Plus™ tickets are available for purchase by any main ticket purchaser throughout the program. The addition of 50/50 PLUS^® and Extra Cash Plus™ tickets will only be accepted online at purchase.hscmillionaire.com/top-up or phone at 1-855-999-5688 after the initial main ticket purchase and must be purchased by the ticket deadline. All purchasers will require their initial order number and postal code to add additional 50/50 PLUS^® and Extra Cash Plus™ tickets to their original Additional purchases will be in the name of the original ticket purchaser and will be mailed or emailed to the address on the original purchase.
25. All draws, except for the Grand Prize draw, will be made using Random Number Generator software (RNG). The Grand Prize draw will be made by hand using a draw drum and numbered tokens corresponding to each ticketholder in the database.
26. Each winner, as a condition of accepting any prize, may be required to sign a declaration and release confirming such winner’s eligibility to participate in the 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery and releasing the Foundation(s) from all claims, which may arise from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded.
27. Tickets can only be purchased within the Province of All non-residents must purchase tickets in-person at one of the retail ticket sale locations in Manitoba.
28. Once a 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery ticket is processed, they are non-transferable and non-refundable.

31. A ticket is not considered purchased until a verified financial transaction is complete. Ticket request with cheques returned for insufficient funds (NSF) will be automatically voided. The Foundation has the right to charge persons $30 to cover NSF administrative
32. A complete list of all prize winners will be published online at hscmillionaire.com within 48 hours after the Grand Prize draw has been completed. A complete list of all main prize winners will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Tuesday December 13, 2022. If the lottery should sell out before Midnight, Thursday, November 3, 2022 a complete list of all main prize winners will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Tuesday November 29, 2022. Upon request to the Foundation office, a listing of winners will be provided.
33. All prizes are tax-free. The 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery ticket purchases are not tax deductible and no charitable donation receipts will be issued, as per Canada Revenue Agency regulations.
34. If the Grand Prize winner chooses one of the homes as their grand prize option, the Land Transfer Tax and the costs of transferring the home to the winner would be borne by the Foundation.
35. The Foundation reserves the right to use the winners’ names and photos in communication, promotional, and media materials.
36. Members of the Board of Directors and employees and employees’ household members of the Health Sciences Centre Foundation and St. Boniface Hospital Foundation and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program, are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the 2022 Tri Hospital Dream Lottery.
37. The winner of the Fall Bonus Draw # 1 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not given to Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winner for the cash option
38. The winner of the Super Bonus Draw # 2 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, to make their selection of their choice If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.
39. The winner of the Early Bird Draw # 3 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, to make their selection of their choice If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winner for the cash option value.
40. The winners of draws 1979-2029 will have up to 12:00 m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2022, to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.
41. Destination Travel vouchers are for travel from Winnipeg James Richardson International If possible, all travel must be completed by December 31, 2025. In the event travel is not possible, the cash option value will be provided to the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to purchase travel insurance. Additional costs over the prize value are the responsibility of the winner.
42. All unclaimed prizes become property of the 2022 HSC Millionaire Lottery after a period of ninety (90) days after the draw has been performed unless otherwise specified in these rules. We will notify winners by mail and/or by email followed by one telephone
43. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the email and postal address on their ticket is correct.
44. Each ticket is eligible to win one prize in each prize A prize category is defined as each group of identical prizes on the official list of prizes. After each prize category draw is completed, all tickets go back in the draw for the next prize category draws.
45. All main prize draws will be drawn in order of ascending retail
